Sara was born in Long Island, New York, but considers Richmond, Virginia her childhood home. She moved to the Charlottesville area in 2014 when she married Lloyd. Sara and her husband enjoy spending time with Nate (her step-son) and their four rescue dogs (Hunter, Jango Fett, Padme and Lulu Belle).
In 2018, Sara founded Dogs Deserve Better Blue Ridge, a nonprofit dog rescue organization. She currently serves as the group’s treasurer. She also volunteers regularly at the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA clinic.
Sara holds a paralegal degree from Northern Virginia Community College and has worked in the law field for over 10 years. She joined Stapleton Elder Law in May 2019 as the firm’s funding coordinator and client services associate.
